okaye!
yesterday's happenings will be written like a recount (:
a decision made by mardhiah and i :D

15th February 2008 was like any normal day, except for the fact that it was Friday and school ended earlier. TKGians went through the usual routines of assembly; singing and pledging to the Singapore Flag. After attendance was taken by the loveliest class chairman and announcements were read out, we were led back to our respective classrooms by prefects. What a hassle and tussle there was; sec twos shifting their luggages and books from their tables to the corridoor. Looks of tension and apprehension were plagued on each of their faces. Some did last-minute revision while some just simply and gracefully strolled into their classrooms, all ready and prepared for the scariest examination ever; the mathematics exam.

One hour later, an immense feel of relief scented the atmosphere. Students hurried to find the smartest girl in class and pestered her for her answers. Some squealed with joy while some grunted with anger. It was Math period 50 minutes later for the most loveliest and playful class ; 2e4 (: Surprisingly, not many rushed up to Mrs Hoy and asked her for answers. Lesson continued as usual and it was recess the period after. As usual like the past week, 6 mature yet childish girls, mainly Victoria, Viola, Zai, Natasha, Amanda and me, played the 'Mother Goose' game. But one of them, who was afraid that she might puke again, decided to opt out and sat on the grass patch; giggling with joy and laughter watching her loved ones play. When bored, they sat down and played 'Concentration' when the two Geminis had to do a forfeit.

The bell rang, signaling the end of recess. It was mother tongue and 5 girls rushed to their mother tongue classroom. When entered, they saw a huge abbreviation scrawled on the whiteboard; BGR. So we, plus 6 other girls from 2e1, sat in a cricle, voicing out our opinions one by one. We didnt dare to pin-point or look at one another. So we just looked down. When the bell rang, we didnt give a hoot about it. We continued on, clarifying our doubts about ourselves and on how the minds of the opposite sex work. Some had to go while some stayed glued to their seats. The lesson, then, really and officially ended an hour later. As for me, I truly felt that that lesson was pretty motivational. My doubts were clarified and i am sure others' too (:

3 of us, Mardhiah, Zai and i, went back to class to meet up with our two chiobu friends, Victoria and Tessa. But they weren't alone. They were accompanied by another chio called Jingyi (: . We practised dance steps there and read people's blogs. 40 minutes later, we bid goodbye to Jingyi and set off to Parkway, when Victoria was caught by Mdm Khoo for her super super short pinafore and super super low socks. We spotted Shermaine at the Parkway bus stop and i squealed with delight and hugged her(: We ate at Macdonalds and then, walked around the whole of Parkway. We traveled on the travelators, letting time whizzed past. The mood was mundane and low. It seemed like a Monday but it was a Friday! How could anyone suffer Friday's blues?! Oh no! There's one guy who suffers Friday's blues; a fictional guy from The Archie Comics; DILTON DOILEY. But we are not him, so why did we feel that way?

We camped at the macdonald's playground, screaming and squealing away like a bunch of retards and fools. It was, then, when we decided it was time to head home. Mardhiah and I stayed at the playground while the others went away. We hugged and air-kissed goodbye, making a promise that we'll meet on Monday. The two of us sat, chatting away, while ice cream on our grasp, melting away and painting the floor like white paint. The wind blew our hair, making us resemble Medusa. Suddenly, Mardhiah burst into a wild laughter while I heard a 'cling clank'. Mardhiah turned to her left and I turned to my right. What we saw was a sec three guy from tanjong katong secondary, laid on the floor. He was accompanied by two of his friends; one in school uniform while the other was in NCC uniform. His friends went, "woah!!" while he went, "shut up. f**k". Apparently, he tried to jump over the monkey bar there but to no avail. ( psst. he was pretty short ) He quickly got to his feet and scrambled inside Macdonalds while the two of us were still cackling like wicked witches. We went into Macs to wash our hands and when we saw them, we burst into giggles and they looked with a smile of embarrassment.

We boarded bus service 135 and dropped at the 30 stop. We waited for the bus but were crushed with disappointment when the single deck bus came, overloaded with people): We, then, decided to walk to the 33 stop since we had lots to yakkity yak about. No one was there and we felt bored. Hence, we crossed over to the other side and walked one round. We saw people playing soccer and they noticed us. I saw a bus mate and he recognised me (: At the traffic light junction, there was this guy who bumped into a cycler, who then, scolded him. His cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. "Poor creature):", i thought to myself. As we were walking to the bus stop, i heard people shouting, "BYE!!". I turned and saw the soccer players waving at us. Being super cordial and friendly TKGian, i waved back with enough enthusiasism that they can sense. Mardhiah, too, waved back. We waited for 33 and when it came, i spotted Esther in her guides uniform. She looked sweet like sugar, smiling away (;

On the bus, we sat behind. We could see the soccer players still waving at us. Woah, how friendly can they get. So again, being super super super cordial and friendly TKGians, we waved back. Oh boy, how am i going to face that bus mate next time. When it was my stop, i hugged Mardhiah and alighted. Overall, it was a day full with ups and downs, just like any normal day.

THE END :D

LESSON OF THE DAY : Know how to differentiate between crush, infatuation and love. If you're boy-crazy, accept it graciously as this is the age to be one and don't regret. If you want to be in a relationship at this age, think twice as everything happen would bound to have an impact on you; be it the littlest thing ever. If you can still control, control (:
